Date: Saturday February 28, 10am-1pm, and Saturday March 28, 10am-1pm

Skill Level: 3+ (Intermediate+)
Make your own pottery lamp! During this two day workshop, students will learn how to throw a lamp base on the wheel, and assemble and wire their very own lamp! The first class will focus on throwing and refining your lamp base; it is recommended that students are of an intermediate skill level or higher, and are able to center and pull at least a 6-inch cylinder with relative ease. During the second class, students will fit, wire, and assemble the lamps they made in class one! Lamp bases should ideally be glaze fired prior to the second class. Tuition covers the cost of 1 lamp kit.
Students are responsible for cleaning all classroom tools and work areas by the end of class.
Please remove jewelry from wrists and fingers, tie back long hair, trim long fingernails and wear clothes that can get dirty.
You must be paid and registered to reserve a space in the class.
This workshop does not include a cubby space or access to open studio hours.
